Participation in an IAA apprenticeship program, cost free, with a guarantee of employment upon successful completion is a rare opportunity. As a consequence, we have high expectations of our program participants.
First and foremost, we expect that you take the opportunity seriously and put forth your best effort to succeed. We will provide you with the tools and opportunity to be successful, but you'll be doing the hard work.
Our second expectation is that you do your best to be engaged in your learning. Without this, your odds for success decrease.
We also expect that you will communicate with IAA staff if you are having challenges, regardless of what those challenges may be.
Students in the IAA program must be making satisfactory academic progress to remain eligible to participate in the program. You will always know where you stand and will be provided with reasonable supports to ensure your success.
You will also be expected to maintain academic honesty at all times. What this means and how it is assessed will be fully explained to you before your program begins.
In order to start your Registered Apprenticeship, you will need to meet both academic and behavioral expectations. You will receive ample feedback on both of these areas.
We hope you've studied the materials available for you to learn about what an apprenticeship opportunity would mean for you. If you're ready to get started, click below to learn how to apply. If you don't see a program of interest in your area, please subscribe to our email list and we'll notify you when new programs are offered.
